Based on Scripture, the precedence of disciple-making is plain. Jesus himself made it abundantly clear: We’re to make disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19). This lies on the coronary heart of the church’s mandate: To make disciples who make disciples.
And church planting is a catalyst for this very endeavor. Church planters, then, should be those that are capable of develop a tradition of biblical discipleship of their church buildings.
If we wish to see God glorified on this planet via the planting of wholesome church buildings, discipleship should be one among our highest priorities. However how does discipleship catalyze church planting? And what precisely can we imply by biblical discipleship?
