Poem for an Anxious World https://chrisonet.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Poem-for-an-Anxious-World.jpg

For the Lamb on the heart of the throne will probably be their Shepherd;

He’ll cause them to springs of Residing Water.

And God will wipe away each tear from their eyes.

(Rev. 7:17)

For our anxious little realm,

for the fears that overwhelm . . .

There isa throne.

For errors we cant overlook,
and the sins that also beset . . .

We have now a Lamb.

For our misplaced and lonely hearts,
for our gnarled and tangled paths . . .

We have now a Shepherd.

For our dry and listless souls,
and our thirst for being entire . . .

We have now aStream.

For remorse and ravaged years,
for all candy and bitter tears . . .

We have now a Father.

For treks by burning sands,
To our house inpromised lands,

Thishope tillall is completed:
Our God the three-in-one.
