He Fulfills God's Promises | Devotional by Bill Bright https://chrisonet.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/He-Fulfills-Gods-Promises-Devotional-by-Bill-Bright.jpg

“Jesus Christ, the Son of God–isn’t one to say ‘yes’ when he means ‘no’. He always does exactly what He says. He carries out and fulfills all of God’s promises, no matter how many of them there are and we have told everyone how faithful He is giving glory to His name” 2 Corinthians 1:19,20

From Genesis to Revelation the Phrase of God incorporates 1000’s of guarantees which we as believers in Christ can declare. We’re reminded in Matthew 28:18 that every one authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him, and in Colossians 2:2,3 that God’s nice secret plan now eventually made recognized is Christ Himself; that in Him lie hidden all of the mighty untapped treasures of knowledge and data, “For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ” Colossians 2:9,10.

So make an inventory of all the guarantees of God that apply to you, and declare these guarantees within the title of the Lord Jesus Christ. For “He all the time does precisely what He says. He carries out and fulfills all of God’s guarantees.” Start to dwell supernaturally by drawing upon the supernatural sources of God, claiming His guarantees by religion.

Bible Studying: 2 Corinthians 1:15-19 (beneath)

Thought: I refuse to dwell the everyday Christian existence. I would like my life to be characterised by the supernatural, so by religion within the title of the Lord Jesus Christ, I’ll declare these guarantees which can allow me to dwell supernaturally as a sworn statement that I serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

15As a result of I used to be assured of this, I wished to go to youfirst so that you simply would possibly profit twice.16I wished to go to you on my wayto Macedoniaand to come back again to you from Macedonia, after which to have you ever ship me on my wayto Judea.17Was I fickle once I meant to do that? Or do I make my plans in a sophisticated mannerso that in the identical breath I say each Sure, sure and No, no?

18However as certainly as God is trustworthy, our message to you will not be Sure and No.19For the Son of God,Jesus Christ, who was preached amongst you by usby me and Silasand Timothywas not Sure and No, however in him it has alwaysbeen Sure.
