The phrase “Hosanna” is used to specific adoration, reward or pleasure.
Within the unique Rabbinical Hebrew it’s interpreted to imply ‘save, we pray’. As we learn a part of the Easter story we’re reminded that as Jesus was coming into Jerusalem,
“a really giant crowd unfold their cloaks on the highway, whereas others minimize branches from the timber and unfold them on the highway. The crowds that went forward of him and those who adopted shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” Blessed is he who comes within the title of the Lord! Hosanna within the highest!” (Matthew 21:8&9)
As we have a good time the Easter season allow us to not solely keep in mind to specific our adoration, reward and pleasure however let’s keep in mind the ‘why’ as effectively; The resurrection! Our salvation is determined by it!
My prayer for you this week
“Jesus, we ‘spread our cloaks on the road’ asking, save, we pray, oh Son of David. Blessed are you who got here within the title of the Lord! Hosanna within the highest!” Amen. Matthew 21:8 & 9
