Immanuel’s Little one Christmas ministry goals to achieve 40,000 unchurched youngsters

Russia (MNN) – With the vacation season simply across the nook, Christmas ministries are beginning their preparations now, aiming to achieve extra youngsters with the Gospel.

Slavic Gospel Affiliation (SGA) is partnering with church buildings in Russia this 12 months to offer Bibles, provides, and the reward of the Gospel via their Immanuel’s Little one program. Eric Mock, SGA’s vp of ministry operations, explains that they’re hoping to achieve 40,000 youngsters this 12 months.

So the churches, rather than thinking about themselves, focus that Christmas day on exalting Christ and take the Gospel to these villages and these orphanages,” he says.


The Present of the Gospel

The Immanuel’s Little one program offers unchurched youngsters a Christmas reward that features a youngsters’s Bible, provides, sweet, and a Gospel star. The Gospel star Christmas decoration says, “Jesus loves you” on one facet and has the donor’s identify printed on the opposite.

Mock explains that this reward is the one the youngsters get essentially the most enthusiastic about.

He says, “They left any other gifts aside and stood in the line next to the young man that was translating…how to pronounce the name of the American family who had committed to pray for them for the next year.”

“Most of all they heard that they weren’t alone. There was someone on the other side of the world that cared enough about them, even though they had never met them, to pray for them,” he provides.

Christmas Evangelism

The work SGA does with Immanuel’s baby helps the church buildings they companion with disciple the youngsters all 12 months. Any leftover funds not used within the Christmas ministry goes again to the church buildings.

Church buildings use these funds to purchase Sunday college supplies so that they have the provides to show God’s Phrase all 12 months.

Mock says, “We’re equipping the church to minister to these children who come back to the church after the [Christmas] celebration.”

“Immanuel’s child is that spark that opens doors that is also the resources to give them the capacity to continue discipling these children,” he provides.
